Mid-September, we partnered up with Savers Thrift Store to raise money for our furry friends. By the end of November, we were able to collect over 4,000 pounds of houseware items, clothes and shoes! The founder and one volunteer drove endlessly, from Euclid to Kent to pick up every single box and bag that is in the photo above. It's always heartwarming to see organizations come together for a good cause. Thanks to this partnership, we were able to collect funds that will go towards providing food, shelter, and medical care in the future.
Savers Thrift store has always been known for their commitment to sustainability and community outreach, and we're grateful that they've chosen to extend their generosity towards our cause. Not only did they provide us with a platform to raise funds, but they also encouraged their customers to donate their gently used items to our center. Thanks to the hard work of both our organizations, we were able to make a tangible difference in the lives of the animals that we care for. We're excited to see where this partnership takes us in the future, as we continue to work together towards our shared goal of creating a better world for all creatures great and small.
